TBWA IN THE COMMUNITY.
At TBWA we breathe creative life into
everything we do because creativity and
art are the greatest forms of rebellion in
existence. TBWA partnered with Techzim
and AMH to bring the first ever Digital
Future Conference to Zimbabwe and also
teamed up with Roof Top Productions to
bring a once in a lifetime, one night only
Hamlet theatrical experience.
The successful Digital Future conference,
held in mid March at the Sango
Conference Centre, was the largest
gathering of digital minds not only from
Zimbabwe but across the continent with
speakers from Kenya, Nigeria and South
Africa. It was made possible through the
sponsorship of Net One and DStv.
The conference, a mix of keynote
speakers,
discussion
panels
and
workshops was well received by the
participants as a great platform to discuss
all things digital. Speakers included the
Deputy Minister of ICT Dr Win Mlambo,
NetOne CEO Reward Kangai,Teju Ajani
head of content partnerships You Tube
for Africa, Denny Marandure CEO of ZOL.
The conference also featured insights
from self made digital publishers and
content creators such as Her Zimbabwe
and 263 Chat’s Sir Nigel.
Theatre, has been part of Zimbabwe
for many years and when Hamlet came
to Harare, TBWA did not pass up the
opportunity to be part of this historical
and creative piece. Daily News and ZiFm
partnered with TBWA to bring the one
night only Hamlet theatrical experience
in Harare.
Productions, a TBWA partner. Globe
theatre is on a 205 nation world tour up
to 2016 with Zimbabwe being the 91st
country stop. The ongoing tour is the
first of its kind in theatre history and is a
historical celebration of the arts.
TBWA was able to set new benchmarks
while making a difference through these
two initiatives. At the end of the day we
believe that by setting new benchmarks
and disrupting the way society operates
we are serving, enhancing and helping
society realize new potential, making
the Zimbabwean landscape a better and
enhanced place, one creative idea at a
time.

Newly launched TBWA\ Digital Arts Network (DAN)
to lead agency’s African Digital Revolution
Marketing and advertising must move
at the ‘speed of life’ if it is to stay in tune
with the demands and expectations
of consumers who increasingly want
to interact with their favourite brands
rather than sit on the side-lines as mere
market observers.
Within Africa - a market exploding with
economic growth and home to one of the
world’s youngest populations the accent
is on turning to digital; a vital factor that
has seen TBWA\ announcing today, that
they are launching their Digital Arts
Network (DAN) in Africa.
“The world is changing. Consumers lead
fast-paced, active lives. People of all ages
are embracing technology solutions that
allow them to immediately connect with
brands they respect and admire.
