TBBA’s Installation and Awards Ceremony was held at Tampa’s Lowry Park Zoo last month. The animal mingle during the cocktail reception made for great photo opportunities and a unique experience. With over 200 member in attendance, TBBA honored and recognized members who display strong leadership and dedication to the association and installed the 2014 Board of Directors and Executive Committee. NAHB Membership Award
Rick Judson, NAHB Chairman awarded TBBA with the May Membership Madness Award at the October installation Banquet. Winners were determined by the percentage increase in builder and associate members based on the HBA’s membership totals as of May 31st, compared to April.
Tampa recorded a 13.2 % membership increase in May and bested 54 competitors to bring home the gold in Group 3. Group 3 includes associations with 350-699 members. With a membership of just 418 on November 1, 2012, TBBA has welcomed over 300 new members. The total membership is at 684!
Life Directors
A Life Director is a board member who has served 5 years as an elected board member. This year we have 4 fantastic members who will be added to this list:

Presidents Appreciation Award
This award is bestowed annually from the TBBA President to an individual member who has demonstrated a great level of support and commitment to the association.
Emerald Award
The Emerald Award recognizes a member of the TBBA for outstanding and sustained service to the association. Especially in areas related to association leadership and guidance. Two longtime members are recognized. They offered over a decade of service to the association with many of those years weathering the economic storm.
