Taylion High Desert Academy Holds
Inaugural Graduation Ceremony
(Victor Valley)—Last week, local charter school Taylion High Desert Academy (THDA) graduated their first class
of seniors at their inaugural graduation ceremony in Victorville.
The ceremony was held on June 19th at the school’s Nevada Avenue location, located at 17738 Nevada
Avenue in Victorville, and celebrated the end of the school year with not only their senior graduating class, but
with promotions into high school, junior high, and elementary school as well. Speakers included the Managing
Director of Taylion; Danielle Moore, board members, and Taylion’s first Senior of the Year; Giovanni Lima.
Lima, a resident of Apple Valley, plans to transition to Victor Valley College, where he will work towards his
goal of becoming a video game designer.
THDA is a free public charter school serving grades K-12 across the High Desert, with locations in Adelanto and
Victorville. THDA is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC), and offers a variety
of programs including home school, virtual school and independent study, as well as various socialization
activities and clubs, including ASB, Yearbook, and more.
