Extra curriculum activities in the gymnasium
Extra curriculum activities is the great leisure time for individual self-expression and skill development. Everybody has the opportunity to choose from a variety of non-formal education classes in the gymnasium which are based on students’ desire and abilities.
There are many sports clubs in Žalgiriai gymnasium, such as badminton, basketball, volleyball, table tennis and darts. In this area, our school has achieved the highest achievements and earned prizes. The boys’ team of Žalgiriai gymnasium has won gold medals in Tauragė city darts competition and got the right to represent Taurage in Lithuanian school finals. In the volleyball competition, the Žalgiriai Gymnasium boys' team became champions while the girls' team won silver medals. Those who do not like sports also have various fields to express themselves. You can visit solo singing, vocal ensemble or wood carving clubs.
