DEAR
FRIENDS
I am pleased to welcome you to Taste of Tennis in NYC! 2015 has been a busy
year for Taste of Tennis. The first ever Taste of Tennis Miami was a big hit and
we are pleased to announce that we will be returning to the W South Beach on March 21, 2016!
In addition to tonight’s flagship Taste of Tennis Gala, which is now in its 16th year, we will host a
number of exciting tennis-themed lifestyle events throughout the week!
Taste of Tennis launches at the 2nd Annual Celebrity Chef Tennis Challenge, where top chefs take
to the courts at CityView Racquet Club to compete for great prizes. We will also host the 4th
Annual Party with the Pros at Langham Place New York Fifth Avenue, where guests will have the
chance to meet Sloane Stephens, John Isner, Victoria Azarenka and other tennis stars.
Throughout the week, we will have additional experiences with some of professional tennis’
biggest stars at New York’s most exclusive hotels and residences. These exclusive events include
“An Evening with Rafael Nadal” at the New York Palace and “Meet Gael Monfils” at the Eventi
Hotel.
At this evening’s Gala, we are so excited to have celebrity chef Marc Murphy and 7 time Grand
Slam Winner Venus Williams serving as our featured doubles team. These superstars each
represent the pinnacle of their respective professions, and we could not be more excited to have
them join us tonight for what promises to be an unforgettable culinary experience.
We are also fortunate to be joined tonight by some of the world’s leading chefs, pro tennis players
and tennis legends. I am confident you will enjoy the incredible array of food they will be “serving”
for you this evening. The Taste of Tennis would not be the “World’s Premier Food and Tennis
Experience” without the ongoing participation and support of these fine chefs and players.
I also want thank all of the sponsors who have helped make this year’s Taste of Tennis our best
yet. We are fortunate to have sponsors who, in addition to their financial support, contribute to the
event with their innovative marketing concepts, social media efforts and public relations initiatives.
Finally, we are pleased to announce that a portion of the proceeds from this evening’s event will
benefit two wonderful organizations, Acing Autism and the Kulp Family Medical Fund. We could
not be happier to support their important missions. On a personal note, the Taste of Tennis would
like to send out our very best wishes to Chef Eli Kulp as he continues his recovery.
On behalf of AYS and the entire Taste of Tennis team, thank you so much for joining us and bon
appétit!
