Please give us a little backround on your band, when you formed, releases, influences, etc-
Zeist and Troy were classmates back in senior high school. Troy started learning drums due to the influence of Japanese rock music, then Zeist started learning guitar because Troy wanted him to. I met them in a music workshop, and we thought that maybe we could play in a band together. That band became Anthelion. We released first EP "Bloodstained Anthelion", but we only released debut album Bloodshed Rebefallen in 2007.
We are influenced by many many bands, our music history might have been similar to many other musicians, all those classic bands are our nutrition, so it's not easy to describe, but it might remind you of Iron Maiden,Helloween, Cradle of filth, Dimmu borgir, Emperor and so on.
Our album "Obsidian Plume" will be released in Indonesia this November. Anthelion will be playing in Indonesia for Rock In Solo festival, and we will have a gig in Singapore again after 7 years. Next year we'll start working on the new album, possibly try to release some EP to keep our creativity going. The new album is gonna be very different to Obsidian Plume, and in 2016 to 2017, we are seeking for more opportunities touring in Europe or the U.S., please contact us if you are interested.
