Taste Of Khaos #4 | Page 42

What's the first thing you want to do at the end of a show when you leave the stage? Does the band usually party after the shows or do you immediately hit the road and onto the next stop?

First thing is to go through what we could have done better! Then after that we can do anything. We dont party that hard anymore.

Ever have any crazy run in's with fans? Any ever scare the hell out of you?

Well, it happens quite a lot. Once I almost missed the bus since some fans would not let go of me.

What is the one thing in this world that you despise the most?

Well, religious fantatism I dont like.

Sabatoncruise is coming up, this is sold out, this seems to be quite the experience for Sabaton fans how are things like this for the band? Do you get some extra relaxation on things like this? Will you be doing more of these in the future?

The cruise is very special. Its the fifth year we do it now. Always its been sold out quickly. Its everything but relaxing for the band. We do two shows in one night and we often have lots of activities aboard like signing sessions and such.

How are things going for the next Sabaton Open air? You have some great bands already lined up, what can fans expect to see for 2016 with this?

Indeed, we are working on the lineup all the time. We can never know how it will look like. We are not a compeditor against other festivals like Sweden Rock Festival. For us its more about giving the fans a great Sabaton experiene.

We have a fan question, for the song "The Price Of A Mile" which group of allied troops were you talking about? Which part of the Passchendaele battle are you singing about?

This is quite general of the WW1 trenchwars. And the price of a mile depends on where you measure it. But no matter where you measure it, its very costly.

It looks like Sabaton had a fun time at comic con!? Please tell us about it? I see Joakim likes Superman over Batman, what are some of your other favorite related characters?
