The Meaning Beyond the End of the Year
“You crown the year
with Your goodness,
and Your paths drips
with
abundance.”
(Psalm 65:11)
A year has passed and,
if God allows, we will
receive a new year. We
thank the Lord God for
He has kept us until
this hour. End of year
resembles the end
of our lives on earth.
Therefore, we need to
bless the Lord’s name
by living according to
the spirit. Repentance
is the beginning of the
spiritual life.
When
we get to understand
that our lives on earth
is just the preparation
for the immortal life,
we start living a life of
repentance. In our holy
church,
repentance
and
confession
is
one of the seven
sacraments that all
of us should practice
regularly. Also, the life
of true faith is linked
with the spiritual life and
its fruits are strength,
peace, and courage.
True faith helps us to
live a life of purity and
righteousness.
so, they did not waste
it. Instead, they used it
to repent and do good
deeds. They lived a
life of repentance and
through them we learn
from their model way of
life. They presented a
vivid picture to the true
children of God. We ask
the Lord Almighty to
