FOREWARD – PETA FIELDING, CEO
I was always driven by a desire to create something. To create a business that acts a certain way,
feels a certain way and leaves a certain impact. I fell in love with a guy whose brewing talents – or at
least the ‘brewing fruits’ of them – deserved to be shared with as many people as possible.
Together, we were inspired to build a brewery for the Gold Coast. It started out as a very personal
endeavour. We made big plans. We took massive risks. It was very much about us.
It thrills me immensely to say that Burleigh Brewing has matured from that individual pursuit, to what
feels like an unbelievably cool team sport – with staff, customers, suppliers, stakeholders, our fellow
Gold Coasters and beyond all part of the game.
The responsibility to continue to steer Burleigh Brewing in a sustainable and reliable manner that
honours each and every that honours each and every one of our extended Burleigh Brewing family
and the community around us, is one I take extremely seriously.
