19 General Notes: These fish are schooling fish so 5 is a minimum like I wrote before. These are very robust Corydoras. They are one of the hardiest catfish. If you do plan to breed them in a Non species tank, it is recommended not to add any other fish which would predate eggs. Herbivorous fish shouldn‘t be kept either especially Plecos if you plan to do the 1 -2 week high protein feeding regime. This is because Bronze Corydoras need high protein foods to be fit to breed. Herbivores will go for the high protein food. If herbivores have the 1-2weeks of high protein food for conditioning Corys, this will cause the herbivores to become sick. Herbivores will suffer bloat especially. Longfin Varieties and albino varieties are available in the trade too.
