We are keeping up to date with
the latest media developments,
and constantly making changes to
catch up with new trends. Cultural
activities concerning Tango, have
undoubtedly been increasing in
quantity, quality, and importance
around the world, not only in
Argentina. That is why some of the
magazine’s sections have been split
to get a wider reach. Example of
this is the journal Mundo Tanguero
(www.mundotanguero.com.ar), which
provides the latest news on festivals
and presentations in different parts
of the world, and duplicates our
Facebook Fan Page (https://www.
facebook.com/TangoyCulturaPopular),
Google+, LinkedIn, Pinterest and
Twitter. For this we also created
a Facebook Group (https://www.
facebook.com/groups/tangoyculturapopular/)
with information about milongas,
classes and anniversaries, counting
on its participants’ contribution.
There we always try to avoid
unnecessary repetitions or unrelated
publications which makes it, from
our perspective, more interesting
than similar groups; something that
seems to confirm its permanent
growth.

Within this context, the magazine’s
editions have lost regularity. As
readers might have noticed, its
publications are no longer monthly.
We wish to reinforce the idea that
Tango y Cultura Popular does not
expire (it can be read as a book).
This special edition completely
translated into English by Daniela
Rial is the novelty, just as many
friends and followers have suggested
(Constantin Pop particularly). Our
desire is to be able to reach much
more people all over the world.
We want to thank our readers’
affection and constant support.
To those who are with us ever since
the first edition and to those who
have been joining us throughout all
these years. And we certainly don’t
forget our collaborators, that have
helped us build our magazine, and
those that keep adding this project
newly fresh ideas. We count on
them, and on everyone interested in
spreading Tango’s deepest feelings,
those feelings that unite us and
show us just the way we are.
