La Morocha became the first symbol,
the first Tango ambassador, conquering
every port is reached.
--- In a male chauvinist society, women
began to stand out through Tango, and
their presence started to be felt. Ever
since Tango’s prehistory, they have been
poetry subjects, they have grouped
on female orchestras, many excellent
female dancers flourished, some
became poets and composed tango
scores, poems, became great singers,
and kept plowing through the Arts path
acting in the theaters, films, radio and
TV shows.
With that female touch and great talent,
women have conquered places that
seemed to be, in past times, men’s
private property.
