A new stage
18 years ago, on June 2000
Tango y Cultura Popular’s first
edition came out, it was then a
bulletin sent via email, almost an
innovation in this field. digital magazine, we saw the
opportunity of adding elements
which do not exist in a paper
magazine, such as music and
videos.
Since then, many technological
changes have modified the
way we communicate, and
also broaden the possibilities.
We’ve always been interested
in providing quality content,
and to show that in a digital
magazine, we also focused
on quality of design -for this,
we trusted in our talented
Adriana Rolón’s abilities.
Both elements, content,
and design, represent the
magazine spirit and distinction.
As we had chosen to create a Eight years ago, we said:
“From the very beginning we
have tried to differentiate
from other publications that
tend to be in excess erudite
or shallow; being respectful
and open-minded, as well as
in the subjects dealt, as in the
ideas put under discussion.
We’ve also encouraged readers’
participation, through their own
experiences and viewpoints, in a
pleasant, clear and unstructured
