The Japanese admire tough leaders as the Asian country reeled from the destruction brought about by World War 2. Both Prime Minister Shinzo Abe and President Duterte describe the present developments in Asia as “golden era.” Nikkei, Japan’s leading economic organization, has been concentrating on Asia for the last five years considering the region’s robust growth. As co-chairpersons of the 2019 OBE, Undersecretary for Planning, Human Resource and Organizational Development, and Field Operations Jesus Mateo, and Assistant Secretary for Public Affairs Service and Alternative Learning System Program and Task Force G. H. Ambat expressed their gratitude to the representatives of the IATF who presented their respective preparations for the school opening. PNP’s Ligtas Balik Eskwela shall deploy approximately 6,000 personnel for the National Capital Region (NCR) alone, and 150,000 personnel nationwide to prevent and suppress the occurrence of criminal and terroristic incidents targeting the general public including students, teachers, and parents. Ang naturang proyekto ay inisyatibo ng First Gen Renewables Inc., sister company ng First Gas Power Corporation at inaasahang magsisimula ng electric tricycle industry na posibleng isulong na programa ng lokal na pamahalaan para magkaroon ng energy efficient at environment-friendly na mga sasakyan. Ayon kay Engr. Januario Godoy, pinuno ng City Planning and Development Office, ito ay suporta sa renewable energy program at local climate action plan upang mabawasan ang air pollution at carbon emission ng mga sasakyan. “Bukod sa mas maliit ang maintenance cost ng e-trike at mas mahaba ang life span kumpara sa mga conventional na tricycle, mas marami ring pasahero ang pwedeng isakay dito. May kaparehong programa din ang Department of Energy (DOE) na maaaring pag-aralan kung pwedeng isama sa local initiative,” dagdag pa ni Godoy. Bilang pauna,magkakaloob ang First Gen ng limang e-trikes na magsisilbing pilot vehicles ng naturang proyekto. Magbubuo ng isang Technical Working Group (TWG) na kakatawanin ng Mayor bilang chairman, City Environment and Natural Resources Office, Transportation Development and Regulatory Office (TDRO), City Planning and Development Office (CPDO) at iba pang konsernadong ahensya na siyang magsasagawa ng pananaliksik at pag-aaral para sa feasibility at profitability ng E-Trike. Kasama sa mga pag-aaralan ang ruta, linya at samahan ng mga tricycle operators/ drivers, pamamahala at maging kung saan ang charging station nito. Inaasahan na sa buwan ng Hunyo ay masisimulan na ang pag- aaral habang ang MOU ay tatagal ng tatlong taon. (BHABY P.
