Bb. Lungsod ng Batangas 2019 candidates ipinakilala
sa publiko
BATANGAS CITY Pormal na
ipinakilala sa publiko noong
ika-27 ng Disyembre ang 20
naggagandahang kandidata sa
Bb Lungsod ng Batangas 2019 sa
pamamagitan ng isang motorcade
sa loob ng poblacion.
Ito ay sinundan ng press
conference sa Batangas City
Convention Center kung saan
higit na nakilala ng local media
ang mga beauty contestants.
Ayon sa mensahe ni
Cultural Affairs
Committee
Vice-Chairman Eduardo Borbon,
espesyal ang pagdaraos ng Bb
Lungsod ng Batangas ngayong
2019 at maituturing na mapalad
ang magwawagi dito dahil sa ito
ang ika-30 taon ng pagtatanghal
ng
naturang
prestihiyosong
beauty pageant kaalinsabay ng
Golden Jubilee ng Founding
Anniversary ng lungsod ng
Batangas sa Hulyo.
Binigyang diin niya
na naiiba ang patimpalak
pagandahan na ito sapagkat
binibigyang puntos dito ang
katauhan ng kandidata na di tulad
ng ibang patimpalak na paramihan
ng makakalap na pondo para sa
pagpapatayo ng mga proyekto.
Ilan sa mga isyung
binato sa mga kandidata ay kung
ano ang kanilang opinion sa isyu
ng bullying at sa mga problemang
kinakaharap ng mga kabataan
tulad ng teenage pregnancy at
depression.
Nagpahayag din sila ng
paghanga kay Mayor Beverley
Dimacuha bilang isang babae
at ina ng lungsod. At kung
mabibigyan sila ng pagkakataon
na makausap si Mayor, isusulong
nila ang gender equality, child
protection at pangangalaga sa
kapaligiran.
Ilan naman sa kanilang
magiging advocacy kung sakaling
papalaring manalo ay ang
pagsusulong sa responsible use
ng social media, pangangalaga
