With summer in full swing , what was your favorite childhood summer memory ?
Joel Neuman Atlanta Bar Foundation President
" My favorite memory of summer was riding my bike , along with my older brother , two and a half miles along the Milwaukee lake shore to Lake Park to play its par three golf course . We always made sure to carry a quarter in our pocket to pay for a can of cold , delicious Fanta Orange after the round , which may be why I ended up spending the bulk of my career as an in-house counsel for The Coca-Cola Company !"
Louis Richard Cohan Cohan & Levy
" My little brother and I spent summers in Jacksonville , NC with our grandparents , not too far from the beach at Morehead City . We were just two little guys at the time and loved surf casting for fish on the beach . When we would catch a fish , we were so excited , we did not reel them in . Too slow . We just turned and ran those fish right out of the water ."

" As a Braves fan in the 1990 ’ s , I always enjoyed the summer months because school was out , and I was allowed to stay up later to watch their games . Some of my favorite memories began in those summer months when the Braves got “ hot ” and then inevitably lead to even more exciting memories as the summer turned into fall and the pennant races got even closer . I hope that the team will be about to overcome their injuries and have a great summer again this year . Go Braves !"

" One of my favorite parts of summer was playing on the Vince Gill junior golf tour in Tennessee . I got to visit lots of great courses in Tennessee with my mom and brother , and even made the state tournament one time - never did meet Vince Gill though !" www . atlantabar . org THE ATLANTA LAWYER 7
