The Judicial races were held on primary day, May 19th, and ended with some surprises. In the statewide races, incumbents held on to their seats, but in countywide races there will be some new faces. We look forward to highlighting these new judges in the coming months.

Judge Edlein to Lead State Judges
The Georgia Council of State Court Judges elected Fulton County State Judge Susan Edlein as the organization ' s new president. The organization, comprising nearly 200 state court judges and senior judges throughout the state, develops recommendations on issues affecting Georgia ' s state courts and brings those recommendations to the Judicial Council of Georgia.
