Restaurant Review Fresh Farm Fare at Summerland Cafe

Anne Quatrano is a familiar name on the Atlanta restaurant scene, having propelled our city into the culinary stratosphere. First she helped found Bacchanalia( now a Michelin starred restaurant), and then she added Star Provisions. After, she was awarded Best Chef: Southeast by the James Beard Foundation. Much of what Anne Quatrano has served at Bacchanlia and Star Provisions has come from her Summerland Farm in Cartersville, GA. So, it makes sense that her next venture would be her breakfast & lunch spot by the same name, Summerland. But it ' s not just her farm fare that is served here; this venture is her effort to bring other regional farmers and producers into the heart of Atlanta.
I dined at Summerland during its opening month for lunch and felt the light and airy vibe of this casual add-on to " Upper West Market." But don ' t be fooled, it ' s a simply designed cafe with elevated cuisine. Glancing at the menu, I did have to remind myself what an " Eton mess " was. And my husband asked me for
