Happy New Year to all! The new year brings new hope, dreams, and aspirations. I wish everyone a happy, healthy, and successful 2026. The Atlanta Bar Association is having a phenomenal bar year( the bar year runs from June 1 – May 31). We started the Atlanta Bar Association Leadership Academy, selecting 30 class members from 70 applicants. The class participated in six 1-hour CLE training sessions over 2 and ½ months, and heard from 23 panelists, including two Supreme Court of Georgia Justices, a Georgia Court of Appeals Judge, three corporate counsel, and partners and associates from several Atlanta law firms. The Graduation Ceremony was held on November 20, 2025 at the Supreme Court of Georgia.
Our 23 sections are presenting outstanding CLE programs and other events. Our membership is energized and engaged, and the best is yet to come. Spring 2026 will be one for the record books. The Atlanta Bar Association has numerous fantastic and engaging activities scheduled between now and May 31, 2026, including the following:
On Saturday, March 14, 2026, the Atlanta Bar Association and the Georgia Asian Pacific American Bar Association,( GAPABA) will have a Joint Spring Hike at Roswell Mill / Vickery Creek Waterfall. Please join us for this wonderful Spring-time event;
