In conclusion , the journey of a married law student is a unique blend of challenges and rewards . It ' s about prioritizing , compartmentalizing , and appreciating the support system around you . It ’ s a testament to the fact that with the right mindset , dedication , and a dash of flexibility , one can not only survive but thrive in law school while nurturing a family . Every day requires juggling but it ' s worth every effort when you see your family cheering for your success and you know you ' re setting an example for your children that hard work and commitment pay off .
As for that 1L Thanksgiving ? We stuck to tradition , beach vacation . The outcome ? An " A " in Torts and a TA position for the course . The secret ? Spend the day swimming and shark teeth hunting . After the kids were tucked into bed , I opted for late-night Torts outlining at the dinner table instead of enjoying my usual glass of wine in the jacuzzi .
