The team has also identified an executive director , Stewart Williams , who will be responsible onboarding the full leadership team for Café Momentum Atlanta . The team will partner with founder Chad Houser to hire the general manager and culinary staff .
The Café Momentum Atlanta Board of Directors has also been named and will be governed by a 12-member board . Members include Christian Fischer , president and CEO , Georgia-Pacific , Clark Dean , executive managing director , Transwestern , Kevin Greiner , president and CEO , Gas South , Rita Breen , executive director , Georgia Power Foundation , Kathy Waller , executive director , the Atlanta Committee for Progress , Cathy Smith-Curry , director of Reentry Services , Georgia Department of Juvenile Justice , and Bryan Davis , partner , Jones Day .
The Launch Committee has also hosted several dinner and fundraising events called Momentum Rising . Gypsy Kitchen , Gunshow , and White Oak Kitchen & Cocktails have partnered with us to highlight the program and help guests learn more about Café Momentum . Formerly justice-involved youth from the Georgia Department of Juvenile Justice work collaboratively with Café Momentum and the partner restaurants ’ culinary teams to execute the dinners and give guests a taste of what to expect when the restaurant opens this fall .
