“Dink” Rapper, DJ/Music Producer and Lead Engineer for Urban City Records.
Real name Byron Robinson began his music career in the early 1980’s as a neighborhood
DJ known as “Rock Master D” of the local crew “Omega Gents”. Raised in Cleveland
Ohio on Coit Road near the140th block of Saint Clair avenue at the center of a major
historical music era.
In 1989 Dink progressed as a rapper forming the well known group “Rock N Roll” performing in
talent shows and local festivals mainly the famous Glenville and Woodhill Festivals .
Performing opening acts for artist such as “Charlie Murphy” formally of The K9 Posse, Shaggy,
UTFO and EPMD.

In the early 90’s Dink took off as a music Producer making and selling beats for various
local groups in the Cleveland Ohio area. Teaming up with “Johnny Roscoe” and Lovell Jones of
The Urban City Records team as lead engineer and Studio Manager.
In 2015, Byron decided to organize Urban City Radio, prior to being introduced to “Squirt” of an
already successful show “Real School Media” by Urban City Record’s Executive “Mitchell
Hawkins”.
