Taiwan Probashi: Puja, 2019      5. How to practice this philosophy?   Ans:   By   daily   practice   of   chanting,   people   are   able   to   challenge   various   obstacles   and   through   the   process   of   chanting,   reflect   deeply   on   themselves   and   draw   forth   hope and a spirit of challenge and courage.   For   instance   -   one   of   my   friends   from   France   started   chanting   in   order   to   study   a   particular   course   in   New   York   University.   She   chanted   for   over   a   month,   worked   hard   for   the   exams   and   was   able   to   make   it.   Though   before   taking   up   this   practice,   she   flanked   badly   in   her   previous   exam   attempts,   so   by   chanting   'Nam   myoho   renge   kyo'   ,   she   accumulated   enough   good   fortune   to   clear   the   exam   with   stupendous   marks   to   get   an   admission in her dream university.  They   are   also   able   to   inculcate   values   firmly   grounded   in   humanity   and   construct   a   rich   personality.   All   Buddhists   call   this   process   of   inner-motivated   change,   “human   revolution.”    The   practice   of   Nichiren   Buddhism   concerns   itself   with   realizing   one’s   inherent   potential   and   fulfilling   one’s   responsibility   to   the   fullest,   whether   be   it   in   home,     community   or   workplace.   It   is   also   about   proactively   contributing   to   finding   a   solution   to   the   various   problems facing the world.   This   is   a   legacy   inherited   from   Shakyamuni   and   passed   down   by   Nichiren   to   make   oneself   as   well   as   others   happy   and   to   introduce   everyone   who   are   suffering   in   their   lives,   so   that   they   in   turn   becomes   happy   and   victorious.                                                                  26 ---- Shamita Sarcar Choudhury, Taipei City
