I started designing greeting cards about eleven years ago after several unsatisfying card shopping excursions . I knew I could create cards that were not only better , unique , elegant , and simpler than were common in stores but also reflected my sense of design . Since then , the collection evolved to include personalized stationery , notepads , and even Mommy Calling Cards that are now my shop ’ s most popular items .

What are your favorite design / product trends ? I love the resurgence in the art of handwriting , calligraphy and even chalk lettering . And the current Pantone colors of the year , Rose Quartz and Serenity , are stunning .
What ’ s been your most popular item or line to date ? Personalized flat stationery sets are the most popular line and items that continually rate the most popular with clients are the Black lab silhouettes and about fifteen City Skyline silhouettes . I often receive requests from customers to create customized versions of these items featuring their own dogs or their favorite city .
Are there any moments that stand out for you over the years ? Several of my designs were featured in a variety of publications both in print and online including “ Real Simple ,” “ Celebrity Living ,” “ People ,” “ GD USA 2006 Design Annual ,” “ Redbook Magazine Online ,” Etsy . com , ivillage . com and HGTV . com . I received the 2006 American Graphic Design award for my “ Sweetie ” note card . I was also the Merit Winner in How ’ s 2000 Interactive Design Competition . And having the amazing opportunities with The Artisan Group is thrilling .
