Naturally Susan’s is about skin-healthy and
it’s about versatility. It’s about simplifying
our lives and making our lives easier. I
started making skin care products for
myself because I wanted chemical-free
and fragrance-free beauty care suitable for my
sensitive skin. I found an abundance of toxins and chemicals in many
products, so I started researching and developing my own, creating products
that are as pure to nature as possible.
“I’m particular about the ingredients that I incorporate into
my skin care products. So, it’s important to do the necessary
research to find the right ingredients that are as pure to nature
as possible and that are suitable for sensitive skin like mine.”
How did your business begin?
For years, I had been careful about what I put in my body.
But, I didn’t think as much about what I was putting on my
body. I looked even more carefully at the foods that I was
eating and I began clearing my kitchen cabinets of products
that contained artificial ingredients, toxins that were
harming my body from the inside. But, that wasn’t enough.
What about the products that I was using on my body? On
my skin? The organ that absorbs about 60% of what I put
on it? As I learned more about the power of nature, I began
developing and perfecting bath and body products for myself. Soon, I was creating
products for my family and friends. And, Naturally Susan’s was born.
What’s been your most popular item or line to date?
My line of moisturizers continues to be the most popular in
my skin care portfolio. My Avocado Moisturizers are deep
hydrating and nourishing, and great for all-over-body use so
they can be used as a hand cream, lip balm, night cream,
heel-softeners, and more. With natural moisture-locking
and skin-softening benefits, the antioxidant ingredients
can help to maintain skin’s firmness and elasticity.
