THERE IS NO FUTURE WITHOUT A HEALTHY ENVIRONMENT!!
Taking care of the environment is every learner/student responsibility, after all they are the future.

We only have one earth where we get to enjoy the gift of life. This earth has been around for millions of years, generations have come and gone leaving their footprints on this planet, the question is what kind of footprint we to leave behind for Generations after us. This earth is our home, this is where we get to nurture our dreams and aspirations, this is where we get to grow and become responsible adults. But lately we have seen shortages of water, weather patterns changes and governments around the world calling for us to save the environment what does this mean?
Our environment is a combination of many things including water, air, trees, soil, stones and rocks, plants, animals, weather conditions and other elements such as our atmosphere, the sun and the moon. Now all of these things play an important role in making sure that life on earth is possible. We will tackle these items separately on each issue of TMS today we will talk about water since it is one emergency that we need to attend to.
Water is essential to life on earth in fact life would never be possible without water. Without water they will no oxygen to breathe, and the planet would look like a big ball of dusty desert. Our bodies are made up of 80%.
Oxygen
Plants produce oxygen through a photosynthesis process, they breathe in what we breathe out and we breathe in what they breathe out. The biggest producer of oxygen into our atmosphere is plant called algae in the ocean. As algae dies and sinks in the ocean it releases mass oxygen which get distributed in our atmosphere through evaporated ocean water particles. Air pollution damages our atmosphere and negatively affects the rain making process in the sky, that is why we have very little rain and without enough rain everything on earth is affected.
Weather
Temperature and rainfall determine our survival here on earth. Weather patterns and precipitation are dictated by the movement, quantity and temperature of water both in the ocean and in the atmosphere.
Agriculture
The world depends on farmers to produce enough food to feed population; all of it relies on the amount of water they receive. Without enough water there will not be enough food on the planet.
Because water is so essential in providing basic needs for life, water sustainability and conservation has become a very important thing. So every single human being has a responsibility to help preserve water. You have dreams and desires to become something great one day, have a family, a nice house, a nice car; but without water those will never happen.
