RM: Witness, Thank you so much for your time can you tell us a bit about yourself?

WM: My name is Witness Kevin Mkhabela, a student at UJ, an entrepreneur, philanthropist and most importantly a child of God.

RM: What are you currently studying at UJ?

WM: I’m a senior student in BSC Computer Science.

RM: Are you planning on studying any further after completing your current studies?

WM: Yes, I’m planning to have a PhD in Computer Science by 2021 and, to do an MBA at Harvard University in the US.

RM: Tell us about your business ventures?

WM: I am currently a director in a holdings company called Gerald Hope Group www.geraldhopegroup.co.za . We specialize in a lot of services such as media, technologies, investments and retail.

RM: How profitable is your business?

WM: I can’t disclose the turnover of the business, but we doing good.

RM: Where do you see yourself in five years?

WM: I am growth orientated. My aim is to empower my fellow young South Africans by operating in all nine provinces and expand to Africa. My vision is to employ over 200 people in the next 5 years.

RM: Outside the business, what else do you do as an individual?

WM: I’m currently running a Non-Profit Organisation called We Care Edulife Foundation, our facebook is https://www.facebook.com/wecareedulife. My main focus is to empower young people with education. Our current programme is a school enrichment programme where we provide assistance with Maths,

Science, Accounting and other demanding subjects. Another programme is Iconnect, we help learners to apply at Universities.

RM: Wow such an inspiring you do! What message do you have for our readers who are still in school?

WM: Young people should realise that conditions of their environment must not be their limits, it must be their identity, they can achieve far above their wildest imagination just by believing in themselves.
