IT’S A LAUNCH!
The Square Camberley is now accepting members into its brand new Kids Club
T
he families who attended The Square Camberley’s
school holiday camp this past February didn’t know
it, but they gave the UK center’s marketing staff a
dry run of sorts before introducing its Kids Club. Created
for children ages four to 10 years, the camp’s program
was varied but all on offer was highly participatory (see
highlights right) and, judging by the turnout, well received. That response gave the center extra confidence ahead of the
club’s March 19 launch. In addition to hosting special events for
children year-round, The Square Camberley intends to develop
parent-focused content and offer exclusive deals as well,
together with its tenants. The first 1,000 children who were
signed up each received a membership card and welcome
pack that included a water bottle and small reusable tote.
“Our first Kids Camp of 2018 was great fun! With a
different free activity each day, there really was something
for everyone to keep them busy over the school half-term
break. Across the five days we received more than 500
families,” said marketing manager, Joanna Santos. With a regular young clientele secured, the center hosted
another camp, this time for the Easter break. The format was
the same, with five consecutive days of activities with the
original partners and a new collaborator: Jake’s Playworld,
which presented its Easter Farm.
