LAUNCH STONE COUNTY
The Table Rock Lake Chamber of Commerce , with input from 150 community members , has created a bold strategy to drive and manage economic growth over the next 5 years called Launch Stone County . We believe Stone County is at the pivotal point of some exciting new opportunities , and we want our area to be prepared to take advantage of those opportunities .
For the Chamber to implement this aggressive strategic plan , we needed to increase the resources available to deliver additional economic development services . Thanks to 44 investors including small to large-sized businesses , municipalities , Stone County , and individuals , the funding goal was surpassed raising $ 1.25 million to make Launch Stone County a reality .
Our mission is to help Stone County thrive and grow by generating economic activity for the county , support the expansion of our existing businesses , and attract new businesses .
The work outlined in the strategic plan includes four primary focus areas over the next five years :
• Business Retention / Expansion / Recruitment
• Workforce Development / Housing
• Effective Marketing to Visitors
• Community Development
Today , the possibilities for Stone County are very exciting , and with the work that will be accomplished through Launch Stone County , our future is brighter than ever .
