A fictional“ most interesting man in the world.” In real life that title might belong to Thornton alum Bob Atwater‘ 67.
Bob has visited, worked, studied, and explored nearly every corner of the globe, from Vietnam to Egypt, Columbia to Japan, Cuba to Belize, and a long list of destinations in between.
One of Bob ' s stops last year was Saco, where he received the Thornton Academy Distinguished Alumni Award( above); this award recognizes outstanding lifetime accomplishments by TA alums and fosters aspirations in recent graduates and current students. Bob does all of that and more.
