Jane( Cote) Dickinson’ 51 writes,“ I am 90 years old, have three children, four grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren. Knitting baby blankets, following Cardinals football, Phoenix Suns basketball, and Arizona Diamondbacks keeps me busy.”
1950s
Joan( Crogan) Youngs’ 54 wrote that she’ ll miss the Senior Alumni Reunion due to a knee replacement in late August. She competed in the National Senior Olympics in July in DesMoines, Iowa. The basketball team took home a bronze and she“ did okay in my other events.” She hopes to ski at Sugarloaf in April for her 89th birthday.
Special thanks to members of the Class of 1971, who donated leftover funds from their“ Better Late Than Never” 50th reunion, held on July 27, to the TA Backpack Program. The program supports families by providing supplemental food each weekend.
1970s
And to the Class of 1975 which invited classmates to donate to the Backpack Program or the TA Community Forestry Project, a multi-phase project to plant a variety of indigenous trees that will become part of the campus landscape and provide cooling and shade for generations to come.
1980s 1990s
Dan Chadbourne, Saco ' s former Harbormaster, was honored as a lifetime member of the Maine Harbor Master’ s Association. Dan was Saco ' s Harbormaster from 2008 to 2024, after serving two years as Assistant Harbormaster.
Lacey Gagne’ 99 is a registered nurse and works as the Resident Service Director at The Inn at Atlantic Heights.
2000s
Tanya Thompson’ 02 writes,“ I have accepted a position as Assistant Professor of Acting and Voice for the School of Theatre and Dance at Millikin University in Decatur, Illinois, beginning... well... now! This fall!”
Katie( Jannelle) Fiorina’ 06 completed her Master of Liberal Arts Degree in Museum Studies from Harvard University.
Justin Chenette’ 09 was promoted to the C-suite at Sweetser as the Chief Communications Officer. In this role, he leads all external and internal communications, public relations, business development, government affairs, and advancement initiatives. Justin was also recognized by the University of Maine at Augusta with their Distinguished Alumni Award and was named County Commissioner of the Month by the Spirit of America Foundation.
Mark Reaser’ 09 is serving as a Major in the Marine Corps. Mark, who was valedictorian of his class and captain of the football team, graduated from the Naval Academy and is now executive officer at the Naval Academy prep school and still flies helicopters.
