Dear friends!
The heat is up as we approach the end of a very eventful and exciting year. This is true both to employees, shareholders, partners, and not least for our customers. Digitalization and the terms Big Data, Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Things and Industry 4.0 has really been put on the agenda this year, both in public and private parts of the industry. The technology takes us into a new era and this is something we find very exciting.
While many companies are struggling, especially in Western parts of Norway, we have an optimistic view of all the opportunities these change bring. The same is luckily the view from many of our customers. SYSCO entered the year of 2016 with ambitions for continuous and strong growth. I had been commissioned by the Board to consider the possibility of obtaining funding to also be able to grow with acquisitions. For many years, our wonderful staff have worked hard, innovated and created” Good Stories”. These have been instrumental in creating the platform we need to achieve our new goals, 500 MNOK in revenues by the end of 2021. It turned out quickly that both banks and financial communities had great faith in our plans. This made me very proud and satisfied both as the leader and one of the founders of the company.
After careful consideration of several options, we invited Credo Partners to be the main shareholder in SYSCO. Credo Partners is an Oslo-based finance & consulting environment, consisting of skilled people with extensive experience in assisting growth companies. The experiences and results so far give me a very good gut feeling into 2017. An important part of our strategy has been to establish ourselves as a Nordic IT environment. During the current year, we have established offices in both Copenhagen and Stockholm. We will use the same recipe that has worked in Norway, cooperation with Oracle on technology as well as the continuation of our solutions and experience from the Norwegian power and Energy industry.
SYSCO has gradually become an international company in many ways. In addition to having employees in Peru, Sweden and
Denmark, we have highly skilled colleagues from a total of 16 nations. These people represent in all respects our values ” Different- Specialized and Energetic.”
