Oracle Open World 2016
With operations in nearly 150 countries, large dimensions dominate when Oracle gather 60,000 of its own employees, partners and customers to an annual conference in San Francisco. The conference, as illustratively enough has been named- Oracle Open World( OOW), consists of presentations, lectures and demonstrations of new products. The participants get updates on news, products, trends and innovation, while social events facilitates for more contacts in the industry.
SYSCO employees have attended OOW for many years, and were this time also joined by a record large delegation of both employees and customers. The SYSCO consultant, Fransisco Arturo Rivero, was also one of the speakers. An important recognition of him and the expertise the company now possesses.
Regional Director East, Runar Vestrheim and Sales Director Oracle( Nordics) Ole Petter Berg, were some of the SYSCO participants this year, and have also been at
OOW several times before. They give good feedback on both the academic and the social program of the conference, and consider this as one of the IT industry’ s major highlights. The updates that come here, set the tone for everything that happens in the following year, so it is important to be present in order to keep up to date, they explain.
