We believe that if we are to be competitive over time, one must have a reputation in the customer segments we choose to focus on and provide industry-specific solutions, says Killi. SYSCO has with its customer base in energy and its Oracle / technology expertise a very good position to succeed, but it also requires that we strengthen the company with regard to innovation and future-oriented skills, while we must be careful on our prioritizing, he says.
For the employees’ part, Killi believes that there will be a clear notice of more focus and discipline in several areas. On the one hand, we want the management to have clear measurements of how the company should pursue, and on the other side, we want this to be reflected in clear roles and expectations among employees, he explains.
