Good development in Sweden
After SYSCO established its business in Sweden last year, there has been a steady increase in new customers and customer assignments. Country Manager Jörgen Bjurling can announce an exciting development for the company’ s Swedish venture.
This has also led to the branch office in Stockholm being extended to three employees, and Bjurling assumes that there will also be a need for more employment in the years to come. So far, the Swedish department serves between 10-12 customers, distributed between Account Managers Martin A. Aarestad and Lucas Almquist.
As the Nordic region’ s leading Oracle environment, SYSCO can deliver the full range of solutions built on the Oracle technology. This varies from clean technical solutions to cloud based services. – At Agnitum, we have delivered an advanced PCA system solution, says Bjurling.
In the future, he sees an increasing need for SYSCO’ s unique Oracle expertise, and says that it will therefore focus more on consulting services in the Swedish market. – Especially, we see transitioning to cloud-based solutions, making great demands on the choices a company has to make for the right IT solutions, but we can offer the full range of services and advice they need, he explains.
Another area that Bjurling believes will require a lot of follow-up in 2018 is the implementation of the European Privacy Policy GDPR.-My impression is that everyone is talking about this, but only a few really know what they need to do to meet the demands for the company’ s IT systems, he thinks, and points out that the deadline is already in May 2018. – Fortunately, SYSCO has the necessary expertise to ensure that all the company’ s customers meet the requirements within the deadline, concludes Country Manager Sweden, Jörgen Bjurling.
