Sewing Instructions
1. Following the manufacturer’s instructions, trace the listed
number of each template onto the paper side of the fusible
web. Roughly cut out each template about ⅛” outside the
drawn lines.

6. Sew (1) 2 ½” x 32 ½” Fabric D strip to each side of the
Center Block. Sew (1) 2 ½” x 28 ½” Fabric D strip to the
top and to the bottom of the Center Block (Fig. 3). Trim
the block to measure 30 ½” square (Fig. 4) to complete the
Center Square.

2. Press each template onto the wrong side of the fabrics as
listed on the templates. Cut out each template on the drawn
lines.
3. Refer to the quilt photo to arrange and press the (4) clefs
onto the (4) 10 ½” Fabric B squares with the square turned
at a 45-degree angle (Fig. 1).

4. Finish the raw edges of each shape with a decorative
stitch such as a buttonhole or satin stitch to complete the (4)
Clef Blocks.

5. Sew the (4) Clef Blocks, the (1) 10 ½” Fabric A square,
the (4) Fabric C corner triangles and the (4) Fabric C side
triangles together to make the Center Block (Fig. 2).
