At Sylvia P we care about the well-being and success of every person. We are always at
the forefront of fabrication technology. To ensure that our garments are Like No Other
we have introduced the revolutionary SP Hydro-Protect Technology into all competitive
gymnastics leotards. This new technology is placed into the gusset (pants) zone of the
competitive leotard, keeping the gymnast dry, comfortable and focused.

sp HYDRO-PROTECT FABRIC
Our Hydro-Protect layer sits comfortably between the inner lining layer (1) and the outer fabric layer
(3). It’s hydrophobic in nature, which means it repels moisture and provides a waterproof barrier (2). It works
simply by spreading any moisture out over the surface area, preventing absorption and assisting evaporation.
The result stops moisture from seeping through to the outside of the leotard, preventing wet marks and discomfort.
Our Hydro-Protect layer is less than 1mm in thickness, so the gymnast won’t even notice that
extra comfort layer. This technology is truly Like No Other.
