Dear reader,
2019 marks a very special year for The Society of Will Writers in that it is our 25 th
anniversary, which we have been celebrating, and will continue to celebrate throughout
the year, conference of course being no exception.
This year we’re thrilled to be holding the conference at a new venue, The Hilton East
Midlands Airport. We searched for a new venue based on feedback from delegates and
in finding the Hilton we’re confident the venue change will be well received. The Hilton
boasts greatly improved conference facilities over previous venues, as well as providing
room for more delegates and exhibitors than ever before. On that matter, I’d like to
welcome all our exhibitors, both the familiar faces as well as those that are new.
This year is the 23 rd annual running of the conference and is destined to be our biggest
and best yet. Carrying on with the 25 th anniversary celebrations, this year’s event
features the very best that the Society has to offer in terms of speakers, as well as giving
us a chance to show our hosting skills by holding a black tie dinner, complete with
entertainment comprising of casino tables, live music and even a little magic. It’s also
the first time that all members of the Society team, including those from The National
Will Archive will be in attendance across the two days. If you have not yet had chance
to meet the team, this is time to do so.

[email protected] 2019 has seen the highest ever membership figures for the Society and it shows no
signs of slowing. This of course translates over to the conference as the bookings this
year have exceeded previous years also, with a lot of new names which is excellent to
see. As I have always said, ‘your investment in knowledge is your key to success’ and
only by engaging with the Society and attending the training and events that we provide
will you achieve this.
