The membership will be notified of such corrections within thirty (30) days of the change by communication from the Bylaws Chairperson through dissemination by the Corresponding Secretary. C. That the proposed amendment has been submitted in writing to the chairperson of the Bylaws Committee at least four weeks prior to the Mothers’ Meeting in which the proposed amendment will be considered. D. That the proposed amendment has been submitted in writing to the Chapter Corresponding Secretary who shall distribute it (in person, via mail or email) to the membership at least three weeks prior to the Mothers’ Meeting in which the proposed amendment will be considered. Proposed Amendments All proposed amendments to these Bylaws submitted to the membership for consideration shall be considered by the membership no earlier than the next Mothers’ Meeting. Submission to the membership shall be accomplished once the amendment(s) is/are delivered to a Member in person, or sent to a Member via mail, electronically, or telephonically to the contact information provided in the most recent version of the Membership Directory managed by the Membership Committee. Section 3. Approved Amendments Amendments approved at any Mothers’ Meeting shall become effective at the close of that meeting unless otherwise stipulated. ARTICLE XIII. Code of Ethics All e-mail addresses, mailing addresses and phone numbers are confidential and shall not be sold, shared, distributed or disseminated to any non-member of Jack and Jill of America, Incorporated. ARTICLE XIV. Rules of Conduct and Procedures The Chapter shall adopt and adhere to the Southwest Suburban Dallas Chapter of Jack & Jill, Inc, Rules of Conduct and Procedures and they shall govern in support of these Bylaws and shall be included and incorporated herein by reference. They are binding on all Members of the Chapter. To the extent that there is any contradiction between these Chapter Bylaws and the SWSDRCP, these Bylaws shall govern (except as to rules governing Quorum and the number of votes necessary to amend such Rules of Conduct and Procedures). 93 93
