Switch Fringe is proud to welcome to the Festival for the very first time , this fantastic Art Gallery situated on the waterfront which has proudly been supporting the Arts in Ipswich for over 30 years . We are featuring their exhibition from contemporary landscape painter Barry Andrews which runs from June 3rd til June 29th .
“ Like other artists I absorb what I see and what I feel , which I record in my sketch books , and through the process of ‘ logic and observation ’ I discover that which is important to me . It is my responsibility to conduct credible research and to present the viewer with an accurate interpretation through painting , the success of which can only be judged by the increased level of understanding , or motivation to ask questions .”
