Audiovisual artist The Decibel Kid has utilised customwritten computer magic to construct dance music – and a live video accompaniment – from escalators and trains . His next piece of work ups-the ante and will involve collecting sights and sounds from all of the Switch Fringe events and then over 12 hours collating them into a 1 or 2 hour long presentation . Part musical composition , part DJ set , part video-art and wholly unattempted . It will involve 3 projectors , 3 laptops , a PA and a whole load of wires . Drop in and check on his progress throughout the day , buy him a sandwich , and be sure to be there at 9pm when he presses Play .

Organised by the students at Suffolk New College ’ s Music Tech department , the focus really is on making it a quality gig . With acts ranging from Fenrir , Marmalade Groove & Hørra to headliner Robbie Sea , there will be something for you to jam out to !
