Audiovisual artist The Decibel Kid has utilised customwritten computer magic to construct dance music – and a live video accompaniment – from escalators and trains. His next piece of work ups-the ante and will involve collecting sights and sounds from all of the Switch Fringe events and then over 12 hours collating them into a 1 or 2 hour long presentation. Part musical composition, part DJ set, part video-art and wholly unattempted. It will involve 3 projectors, 3 laptops, a PA and a whole load of wires. Drop in and check on his progress throughout the day, buy him a sandwich, and be sure to be there at 9pm when he presses Play.

Ipstock 2013 is an event made to showcase the great musical talent in the younger generation- whether it be funk, metal, techno or anything in between. Organised by the students at Suffolk New College’ s Music Tech department, the focus really is on making it a quality gig. With acts ranging from Fenrir, Marmalade Groove & Hørra to headliner Robbie Sea, there will be something for you to jam out to!
