\LOCAL Profiles Name: Jenghis LUI Age: 15 Favorite Player: SWISH Mag: How long have you been playing basketball? THE lEGENDARY Michael Jordan Jenghis: I’ve been playing basketball since I was 7. So this is my 8th year playing basketball. SWISH Mag: What inspired you or made you love playing basketball? Jenghis: I think the speed of the game and the intensity made me love the sport. Basketball is very entertaining because of the creativity, and skillful moves that players perform on the court. I also think that the sport helps bring people together, to socialize and to create new friendships. SWISH Mag: Are you a person who play’s basketball daily? Jenghis: Uhh.. Yeah. Since its summer at the moment, I have been playing all day every day, training my game so that i gradually get better. Asking other people to play against or with me also helps me improve my game. SWISH Mag: What time do you usually play? Jenghis: I usually start playing basketball at around 5,  because this is the time when most of the local players get out of school and work to play. SWISH Mag: How do you train?, do you have a personal trainer or do you self train? SWISH Mag: Have you ever competed in any Hong Kong leagues or competition? If not Why? Jenghis: I usually self train, Jenghis: I haven’t competed in because I already know what skills that I need to work on, for example my left hand dribbling, combo moves and etc.  During this summer I've been going to my local basketball court in the morning’s just to get some blood flowing, then after going back home I head back to the court at around 5 to self train some more. I prefer self training or hiring a personal trainer because if you train within a team, there isn’t a coach who would only focus on you, the coach will have to train other players. any Hong Kong leagues yet, but i’m trying to get myself into one very soon. The reason why i’m not in any leagues is because i’m not old enough and i think that I still need to work on my game. I have competed in some school & club competitions, and I really enjoy it not only because it’s fun but I learn how to play within a team making me a better player. I definitely want to play for Hong Kong, but I think I also got bigger dreams in mind like maybe even getting into the pro leagues (NBA).
