How hard can it be for a ordinary blue collar spey caster to catch a steelhead on the swing every month of the year for 12 consecutive months within a two hour drive from Portland, Oregon?
That was the question I begin to ponder, which turned into a two-year quest that ended with success but not without pain, disappointment, patience, immense learning and the need to keep trying.
