Day 4-Surrender

There is a feeling on every one of these trips. No matter the fishing success, it is hard to give into the fact that tomorrow is back to reality. It is the last day of the trip. The responsibilities of life, the stress, the numbing grind of work is all coming back to the forefront soon. And that is okay. The perspective this experience of fishing gives makes it not only bearable to go back, but gives us hope. Our dreams have become real. Our optimism is high. The submission, relinquishing, and conceding any fishing trip, for now, has transitioned us into better people. When the time comes again and our spirit needs rejuvenating? Go fish!

Based on a true story.
