Day 2-Security
A day of fishing solves many problems in life it seems. It gives you clarity at times and an escape at others. It is a great release to be in the moment. Why? It’s hard to say. Maybe it’s the sense of adventure or the culture of deep rooted subsistence in our DNA. Whatever the case there is a huge sense of security in the doing of this endeavor.
Get out for a day and it does great things for the sprit. Get out for multiple days and it cleanses the soul.
Do a multi day camp trip down a wilderness river, waking up each day in paradise, like we are doing at this particular moment? Heaven on Earth!
The fishing today was not spectacular. An average day for the most part. Good friends, good water, great fellowship, and fair fishing. We had some grabs, hooked a couple, and even tailed a portion of them today. We sleep tonight with confidence, assurance, and encouragement heading into tomorrow.
