Step #5:
Tie in and palmer another Silver Pheasant feather as you did earlier to form a nice collar around the Finn Raccoon. Attach a 3 inch piece of Lagartun mini French braid and a 3 inch piece of Uni French oval tinsel in front of the collar and secure. Evenly wrap the mini flat braid toward the eye of the shank stopping where the two wires are bent and meet to form the eye. Take the oval French tinsel and make 5-6 evenly spaced wraps forward to the same point where the two wires meet and secure with several thread wraps. When tying on the longer shanks and building a longer body I do like to put a thin coat of Crazy glue over the body to prevent unwinding or damage from fish teeth.
