13. Tie in Hackle Wings (Original is tied with jungle cock)
After scouring the farthest reaches of the globe for the last remaining saddle hackles, strip off excess fibers and tie in the stems on either side, right in front of the ostrich. It may help to flatten the stems with your fingernail, which makes them easier to place. You can also add some strands of flash if you want here.
