Why are we doing it this way? A “Subscription Pledge” allows the reader, to view the magazine in its entirety prior to deciding if you would like to support it. If you are new to Swing the Fly, take your time, view as many issues as you want. If it is something you enjoy and wish to see continue, we ask for your support. If we have not earned it yet, we promise to keep trying to win you over by bringing you the best possible swung fly writing and photography.
Another primary reason for this method is that it eliminates the need for passwords, and logins each time you would like to view the magazine. We want access to Swing the Fly to continue to be user friendly and hassle free.
With your support of Swing the Fly, we will continue to grow and improve. Our goal is to be able to continue to improve on content, add more rich media (videos), contest offerings, and to host and support events in the spey community.
You may see that we have already added some new features including a new website, hosted trips, blog, and most noticeably by reader request new magazine software. We were able to eliminate the pesky navigation bar that hid part of the magazine text in previous issues. And by popular request, Swing the Fly magazine is now available and free to download a PDF copy of each issue to be saved on your computer for offline viewing.
