w The Great Rose Window Restored:
An early Scottish masterwork sees new light
Wednesday, September 26, 2018, 6 PM
As part of the Bigelow Chapel revitalization project, the
historic, hand-painted glass of the Great Rose Window is
being meticulously restored by Serpentino Stained & Leaded
Glass Studio. Commissioned by Cemetery founder Jacob
Bigelow in 1845 as an integral part of his design of the
Chapel, the window is an important example of early stained
glass in this country. Join Curator of Historical Collections
Meg L. Winslow to learn the remarkable story of the Great
Rose Window and see behind-the-scenes photos of the
exciting and complex project. This talk takes place in Story
Chapel.

Our annual Candle Lighting Service, held each December,
provides the opportunity to remember all of the loved ones
no longer with us. Join us in Story Chapel for this seasonal
