Radii Planet Group installs state-ofthe-art extrusion powder coating line as part of £ 2million investment plan
Radii Planet group are specialists in the design , manufacture and installation of premium partitioning , architectural glass solutions and glazed fire rated systems . The company has achieved phenomenal growth over the last decade , and the latest £ 2million investment in a new state-of-the-art manufacturing facility looks set to ensure they keep on growing and serving their customers better for years to come . The new facility located in Burgess Hill , Sussex brings a lot of previously outsourced services including fabrication and product finishing under one roof and supplements the glass manufacturing and profile machining capabilities .
Dominic Searle , Chief Operating Officer , Radii Planet group went on to explain ‘ A significant part of the investment included the installation of conveyorised automated powder coating system which benefits from one of Gema Europe ’ s fast colour change booth solutions . The system is capable of coating our complete range of aluminum extrusions along with all of our fixtures and fitting hardware to the highest standards . The overall investment and vertical process integration brings with it many advantages , these include product traceability throughout the process which is linked with our ERP system , improved quality control procedures , reduced product lead time and more sustainable processing methods .’
